Bhujangasana

Bhujangasan.gif (5890 bytes)  Lie down flat with your stomach on the ground. Keep your hands  at the side. Let the muscles relax. Bring the hands beneath your  shoulders. Gradually inhale and hold the breath. Raise your head  slowly and bend it backwards. Let your spine also bend. From  navel to toes, the body should touch the ground. Reverse the  action while exhaling slowly, so that your forehead touches the  ground. Repeat the asana for atleast five times.
Bhujangasana tones up the back muscles, invigourates digestion and appetite. It increases blood circulation of the heart and the lungs.
