Garudasan.gif (2320 bytes) Stand straight and slightly bend your left knee. Curl your right leg on the left leg. Similarly curl your arms so that both the palms touch each other. This asana is performed while standing on one leg, just as a crane or garud stands on one leg. Repeat the asana by curling the left leg on the right leg.

A lot of muscle and joint movements are involved in garudasana. This exercises the muscles and joints. Hence the poisonous
substances responsible for the pain are released. It is excellent for joint pains of arms and legs
