Lie flat on your stomach on a mat. Bringing your legs together, stretch your arms in front of your head. Take a deep breath and hold it. Raise your arms, head, chest and legs simultaneously such that the entire body weight is on and around the navel. Hold the inhaled breath and remain in this posture as long as possible. Slowly exhale and bring the raised body parts on the ground.
Nabhiasana tones up the back muscles, invigourates digestion, appetite, and cures gastrointestinal disorders.This asana is very beneficial for diabetic patients as it helps the formation and flow of insulin.
