Vitamin B3 or niacin is the generic form that includes two forms, nicotine acid and nicotine amide, both are clubbed together to give niacin.

Food sources
Poultry, fish and meats are good sources; organ meats, yeast, peanuts and peanut butter are among the richest sources. Potatoes, legumes and green leafy vegetables contain fair amounts of niacin.
